1. Affirmative
(I Shall)
We usually use
affirmative for the positive sentences
Example: I shall
buy the book tomorrow
2. Negative (I
shall not)
Example: I shall
not buy the book tomorrow
3. Interrogative
(Shall I?)
Example: Shall I buy the book tomorrow?
B. Function
1. An actions,
events, ideas happening in future which haven’t taken place yet
Example: She
will hold the wedding party next week
2. Polite request that use to asking a polite question
Example: Will you open the window, please?
3. The
present future simple tense can be change with “tobe going to” if the meaning (I am decided to do something or
plan and the situation now make us believe that or happened)
Example: She is going to the cinema
She is
pregnant. She is going to have a baby.
4. Present
future tense can be use in nominal sentence
(S + Shall/will + Be )

D. Shall Vs Will
You can also use “Shall” to express future in
future simple because it’s more formal than “will” and usually appears in
formal speeches, agreements. And will be use in promises, offers, predictions
